Welcome Everyone!
All dogs are born with a set of instinctive canine behaviours and patterns, deep rooted primal codes which determine every aspect of their behaviour in our human world. Sometimes, those instincts get a bit mixed up due a health condition or something they have learned from us or even other dogs, or occasionally they misread signals and get into trouble, even a combination of all the above! That's where dog training experts like me are called in, to help owners live a little more harmoniously with their unruly pets! If I can't help you, I have many colleagues who might instead! I know we are all living in a time of financial hardship but please don't forget your canine family members have a right to live stress free lives and your responsibility to them began the day you brought them into your home and ends the day they pass away. I keep my fees low by not having paid advertising or a fancy website, passing the savings on to you!
My aim is to provide owners with the skills and confidence to communicate more effectively with their four-legged friends! As a fully qualified A.D.T.B. Instructor and insured dog trainer and behaviourist, I teach the owners and guide the dog! I am a member of the Association of Intuitive and Natural Training for Owners and Dogs, I'm also vet and local dog warden approved and recommended: I happily accept referrals from vets, rescue centres etc. I am children and disabled friendly as I believe in Inclusion and dog training is for the whole family. I have been a professional canine behaviourist for many years, with plenty of experience (including being trained by my own English Bull Terriers) and believe in a holistic approach to dog training; which means I will look at many aspects of your dogs life with you including their diet and routines depending upon the nature of the issue. I also hold a Canine First Responder Instructor Certificate, please see the K9 1st Aid page for more information! I am currently studying 2 canine psychology diplomas and I attend seminars etc as much as I can. Previously I have coached gymnastics, worked in customer service, (civil service, hospitality and finance sectors) and was a school govenor.
I named my company Dogs Unlimited because I believe the sky is the limit for learning about dogs. The website name- trainabull -is down to my love for the English Bull Terrier (I own 3!) and how I have learned so much from them.
